LVLVS dresses are made to order, which means production time is part of the overall delivery timeline. For selected styles and destinations, you may have the option to choose Rush Production, Expedited Shipping, or both when placing your order.
This page explains how these options work, what they cover, and how they are treated if an order is returned.
Rush Production
Rush Production is an optional service that reduces the production time for eligible Made to Order dresses.
- Standard production: Typically 3–4 weeks for eligible standard-size or custom-size orders.
- Rush production: Typically 5–7 business days for eligible styles.
- Additional fee: A Rush Production fee applies when this option is selected and will be displayed before you complete your purchase.
- Availability: Rush Production is available only for selected styles and destinations. Availability will be shown on the applicable product page.
- Important: Rush Production reduces production time only. It does not reduce shipping or transit time.
Expedited Shipping
Expedited Shipping is an optional shipping service that reduces the estimated transit time after your order has completed production.
- Typical transit time: Approximately 5–8 business days after the order has completed production and has been shipped.
- Availability: Available for eligible orders shipping to the United States, Canada, and United Kingdom, subject to product and destination eligibility.
- Important: Expedited Shipping does not reduce the time required to produce a Made to Order dress.
- Shipping times may vary due to carrier operations, weekends, public holidays, customs processing where applicable, weather, service interruptions, or other circumstances outside LVLVS's reasonable control.
Can I Use Both Options?
For eligible products and destinations, you may be able to combine Rush Production with Expedited Shipping.
Rush Production reduces production time, while Expedited Shipping reduces shipping transit time. Using both options may provide a shorter estimated delivery window than using either option alone.
Please note: Rush Production and Expedited Shipping are not guaranteed delivery services. Selecting either or both options does not guarantee delivery by a specific date or event date.
Total Delivery Time
The estimated time to receive a Made to Order dress consists of both production time and shipping time:
Total delivery time = production time + shipping/transit time
Production time begins after the order has been successfully processed and any required order details have been confirmed. Business-day estimates exclude weekends and public holidays.
The estimated delivery window applicable to your product, destination, and selected shipping method will be provided during the purchasing process. Please review this information carefully before placing your order.
Rush Production and Shipping Fees Are Non-Refundable
If you choose Rush Production and/or Expedited Shipping, the applicable Rush Production fee and shipping charges are non-refundable if the order is subsequently returned, to the extent permitted by applicable law and our Return Policy.
These charges cover production and/or shipping services selected and processed for the order and are separate from the purchase price of the dress.
If an eligible return is approved, any refund will be calculated according to the applicable LVLVS Return Policy. A return does not make previously incurred Rush Production fees or shipping charges refundable.
Example: If you purchase an eligible Made to Order dress with Rush Production and Expedited Shipping and the return is subsequently approved under our Return Policy, the applicable Rush Production fee and shipping charges will not be included in the refund.
Can I Add Rush Production After Placing an Order?
No. Rush Production and Expedited Shipping must be selected when available before the order is placed. We are unable to add Rush Production or Expedited Shipping to an order after it has been submitted.
If you have already placed an order and need the dress sooner, please contact LVLVS as soon as possible. We can review the current order status, but we cannot guarantee that an order can be changed or expedited after submission.
Ordering for an Event
If you are purchasing a dress for a specific event, please allow sufficient time for order processing, production, and shipping. We recommend comparing your event date with the estimated delivery window shown for your selected product, size, destination, and shipping method before completing your purchase.
Please do not rely on Rush Production or Expedited Shipping as a guarantee that your order will arrive by a particular event date.
